Page 1 Undated

Here are the first two pages of the small book which is the Diary of Henry Stephen Archer Sr.  There is no date on these pages but it is sometime before Nov 13, 1862.

    Found this on this website: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mscivilw/32msg-m.htm about the John McElhannon who received some clothing.

    Enlisted April 25, 1862 Corinth, Mississippi
    May and June 1862
    Left Corinth, sick never heard from since.
    July and Aug. 1862 Present.
    Captured Franklin, Tenn. Dec. 18, 1864.
    No. 1 U.S.A. Gen. Hospital, Nashville, Tenn., Circular Flap Amputation, lower third right forearm.
